In our Fulham project, a key challenge was achieving clean recessed detailing—flush doors, shadow gaps, and hidden tracks—all requiring exacting precision to maintain a seamless, modern finish.

We also needed to balance openness with functionality. By subtly zoning the open-plan space using level changes and built-in joinery, we created distinct areas for living, dining, and cooking without losing the airy, connected feel.

Another challenge was working within the constraints of a narrow footprint typical of Fulham terraces. We maximised natural light with large glazing and carefully placed rooflights, while a restrained palette of finishes helped amplify the sense of space without overwhelming it.
